Project Manager
Job Summary
As a Project Manager at AvePoint Singapore, you will work with cross-functional teams, external vendors, partners, and customers to fulfill project deliverables and drive IT digitization strategies. You are responsible for developing and managing project schedules, scopes, resources, and monitoring project health. The ideal candidate holds a valid PMP or PRINCE2 certification, a degree in IT or related fields, and 5-10 years of project management experience in software application and development.
Responsibilities

- Develop and manage project schedules, scopes, resources, and monitor project health
- Create and execute Microsoft project plans and manage day-to-day operations
- Review deliverables and manage communication across all levels of management
Required Skills
- Valid PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner Certification
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant
- 5-10 years of Project Management experience in software application/development
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and Microsoft Technology

What will you be doing?
As a Project Manager, your job is to primarily work with cross-functional teams, as well as with external vendors, partners, and customers to fulfill the project deliverables. You will be tasked with developing and managing project schedules, scopes, resources, and monitoring of project health. Your responsibilities will include:
- Working with internal stakeholders, external vendors and customer to initiate a project
- Register project, monitoring and reporting the project works and progress to PM Office
- Creating and executing Microsoft project plans and revising them as needed to meet changing needs and requirements
- Identifying and assembling project teams as well as providing leadership and mentoring to assure effective completion
- Managing day-to-day operational aspects of projects including project payment milestones
- Reviewing deliverables prepared by the delivery team before submitting them to the customer
- Effectively managing communication across all levels of management (both internally and externally)
- Working alongside international teams
Other qualities you will need to be a fit for this role include:
- Must have valid PMP Certification or PRINCE2 Practitioner Certification with active serial number
- Degree in Information technology or Computer Science or Engineering or relevant
- 5 - 10 years of Project Management in software application and/or software development
- Senior role based on previous relevant experience
- General understanding of Microsoft Technology
- General understanding of application programming as well as database and system design
- Understanding of Agile/Iterative development and delivery methodologies
- Self starter and proven ability to provide leadership and manage the execution of enterprise IT software implementations
- Having an eye for details and having potential to see roadblocks or risks down the line
- Comfortable in working collaboratively
- Demonstrated success managing priorities and personalities in cross-functional teams
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Fast learner with a passion for technology
