Finance Executive

Key Responsibilities - Prepare and maintain full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. - Monitor project budgets, costs, and financial performance to ensure profitability. - Handle progress claims, payment certifications, and subcontractor billing. - Assist in the preparation of financial reports, management reports, and forecasts. - Ensure timely invoicing and collection of payments from clients. - Perform bank reconciliation and cash flow management. - Liaise with project managers, quantity surveyors, and other departments to track project costs. - Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. - Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation. - Maintain proper documentation of contracts, purchase orders, and financial transactions. Requirements - Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or related field. - 2–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the construction or M&E industry. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. - Familiarity with construction accounting, including project costing and progress claims. - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, SAP, or equivalent) and Microsoft Excel. - Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Preferred Skills - Experience in handling project-based accounting and cost control. - Knowledge of local tax regulations (e.g., GST). - Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment and meet deadlines.
