Job Summary

ICASTEC is looking for a warm, organized, and service-minded Centre Admissions Officer to be the first point of contact for students and visitors. The role involves handling inquiries, guiding students through administrative processes, and providing general administrative support. The candidate will work a five-day week from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm in a central, accessible location.

Responsibilities

  • Greet students, parents and visitors professionally at the front desk
  • Handle incoming calls, emails and walk-in enquiries
  • Guide students through registration, attendance, and fee payment
  • Support admin team with data entry and record maintenance
  • Assist in scheduling classes, meeting rooms, and appointments

Required Skills

  • Minimum GCE 'O' Level, Diploma or Equivalent
  • Prior experience in customer service or general office role
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic administrative systems
  • Good spoken and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and friendly attitude

What we're looking for - Minimum GCE 'O' Level, Diploma or Equivalent - Prior experience in a general office or customer service role; experience in an educational institution is an advantage. - Comfortable with using AI, data entry and basic administrative system; proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) - Good spoken and written communication skills; able to converse comfortable with students from diverse backgrounds. - Detail-Oriented, organized, and able to multi-task in a busy, student-facing environment. - A friendly, patience and service-oriented attitude. - Able to work on weekend is an added advantage. Key Responsibilities - Serve as the first point of contact- greeting students, parents and visitors warmly and professionally at the front desk - Handle incoming calls, emails and walk-in enquiries on course, schedules, fee, enrolment and other matters - Guide students through administrative processes such as registration, attendance queries, fee payment and certificate collection - Escalate and follow up on student issues with the relevant academic or admin colleague, ensuring timely resolution Administrative Support - Support the admin team with data entry and maintenance of student records, attendance and course registration information in the college's systems - Assist with document preparation, filing, scanning and record-keeping in line with data protection and regulatory requirements. - Manage incoming and outgoing of office supplies - Assist in scheduling of classes, meeting rooms and appointments - Perform other general administrative and ad-hoc duties as assigned What we offer - A central easily-accessible location in the Tanjong Pagar / Raffles Place area - A supportive, close-knit environment - On-the-job training and opportunities to grow within the administrative functions - A five day work week, 8.30am-6pm.
