Software Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for a Day 2 Software Engineer to support the operations and maintenance of enterprise applications in a 24/7 production environment. You will troubleshoot production issues, support application deployments, and ensure application availability and reliability. Candidates must have experience with Node.js, React, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and MongoDB.

- Participate in 24/7 standby and after-hours support

Job Details
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Day 2 / production application support, troubleshooting incidents and performing root cause analysis.
- Perform end-to-end troubleshooting across applications, infrastructure, databases, and integrations.
- Support applications running in containerized microservices environments.
- Investigate issues involving APIs, messaging, system integrations, and microservices.
- Support deployments, configuration changes, and post-release validation.
- Work with development, infrastructure, DevOps, and support teams to resolve production issues.
- Provide technical support to customers and stakeholders.
- Participate in 24/7 standby support and after-hours production activities.
Requirements
- Singapore Citizen (mandatory due to security clearance requirement).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Min 3-5 years of experience in software engineering, application support, or production support.
- Experience supporting production applications and microservices environments needed.
- Strong knowledge of Node.js, React, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, MongoDB, and Microservices.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across application, infrastructure, and integration layers.
- Good communication and customer-facing skills.
- Willingness to participate in 24/7 standby and after-hours support.
