Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Engineer will perform and oversee product quality inspections, lead QC Inspectors, and resolve quality-related issues in a manufacturing environment. The role requires working closely with the production team, managing QMS documentation, and supporting quality audits. Candidates should hold a diploma in Engineering with 2 to 5 years of relevant QA/QC experience.

Job Details
Job Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee product quality inspections in accordance with customer specifications and requirements.
- Lead and supervise QC Inspectors in carrying out incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspections.
- Work closely with the Production team to identify, investigate, and resolve quality-related issues.
- Liaise with customers and suppliers/vendors regarding quality complaints, feedback, and corrective actions.
- Initiate non-conformance investigations, conduct initial root cause analysis, and follow up on corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans through to closure.
- Maintain and manage Quality Management System (QMS) documentation and records.
- Support and participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Ensure quality procedures and inspection activities are consistently followed in accordance with company and customer requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and process quality.
- Perform any other quality-related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Diploma or higher in Engineering or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of QA/QC experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a precision engineering or similar environment.
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Good knowledge of QA/QC techniques, inspection procedures, and quality methodologies.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 is required; knowledge of ISO 13485, AS9100D, or other relevant quality standards will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with NCR, root cause analysis, CAPA, and quality investigations is preferred.
- Able to lead and supervise QC personnel while working independently when required.
