Job Summary

We are looking for an HR Generalist to handle Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, and Payroll Administration for a global electronics manufacturing company. This role also provides support across training, performance management, employee engagement, and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate has 2 to 5 years of relevant HR experience and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Job Details

Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition & Employee Lifecycle: - Manage end-to-end recruitment for assigned vacancies, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination and offer administration. - Work closely with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements, candidate profiles and recruitment timelines. - Prepare and publish job advertisements and identify appropriate recruitment channels. - Conduct candidate screening and preliminary interviews. - Coordinate interviews, selection processes and employment offers. - Liaise with recruitment agencies and recruitment partners where required. - Coordinate onboarding, employment documentation and orientation arrangements. - Monitor probation periods and coordinate confirmation reviews. - Manage employee movements including transfers, promotions and other employment changes. - Coordinate resignation clearance and offboarding requirements. - Maintain accurate recruitment and employee lifecycle records. HR Operations & HRMS: - Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee information and records within the HR Management System. - Prepare employment-related documentation including appointment, confirmation, promotion, transfer and salary adjustment letters. - Maintain personnel files and HR records in accordance with confidentiality and PDPA requirements. - Generate regular and ad-hoc HR reports for management review. - Coordinate employee work pass applications, renewals and cancellations where applicable. - Support HRMS enhancements, user testing and HR digitalisation initiatives. - Identify opportunities to improve HR workflows, efficiency and employee experience. - Maintain organisation charts, employee directories and other HR-related records. Payroll, Compensation & Benefits: - Support the preparation and verification of monthly payroll to ensure timely and accurate processing. - Maintain payroll inputs including salary, allowances, overtime, benefits and other payroll-related information. - Support statutory submissions including CPF, IR8A, IR21 and other applicable submissions. - Administer employee insurance, medical benefits and related claims. - Support annual salary review, variable bonus and other compensation exercises. - Maintain accurate compensation and benefits records. - Provide payroll backup support within the HR team. Additional HR Support: - Coordinate probation, mid-year and annual performance review exercises. - Coordinate training requests, registrations, attendance records and post-training evaluations. - Maintain employee training and competency records. - Support employee engagement, wellness and company activities. - Support HR communications and employee experience initiatives. - Assist with HR compliance, ISO and audit requirements. - Maintain HR documentation required for internal controls, statutory compliance and audits. - Support HR projects and process improvement initiatives. - Provide general HR and employee administration support as required. Requirements - Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related discipline. - 2–5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably within a generalist HR environment. - Good understanding of recruitment and employee lifecycle processes. - Working knowledge of HR operations, employee records and HR administration. - Knowledge of payroll administration and statutory submissions. - Good understanding of Singapore employment legislation and general HR statutory requirements. - Strong organisational, coordination and follow-up skills with good attention to detail. - Good interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information with discretion. - Experience with Prosoft HRMS is good to have but not essential; experience with other HRMS platforms will also be considered.
