Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager for a 6-month duration to oversee accounting operations, month-end closing, cash flow management, audit and tax compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will handle journal entries, balance sheet reviews, cash flow forecasts, and liaise with auditors and tax agents. A degree in Accounting or Finance with 6–8 years of relevant experience is required.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Monitor and drive adherence to month-end and year-end closing timelines across finance and business stakeholders.
- Review journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy, completeness, compliance with accounting policies, and timely resolution of outstanding items.
- Perform detailed balance sheet reviews and investigate significant variances, ageing items, unreconciled balances, and unusual transactions.
Cash Flow Management
- Prepare, maintain, and monitor cash flow forecasts.
- Analyse cash flow trends and provide insights and recommendations to support effective cash flow planning and management.
Audit & Financial Compliance
- Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
- Coordinate internal and external audit activities, where applicable.
- Act as the primary finance contact for auditors and facilitate timely responses to audit queries.
Tax Compliance
- Review GST submissions and related reconciliations.
- Review Corporate Income Tax computations and filings prepared by tax agents.
- Liaise with tax agents and relevant authorities on tax-related matters.
Finance Operations & Administration
- Support finance-related administrative activities, including documentation, approvals, record management, and financial controls.
- Maintain and update finance policies, procedures, process documentation, and working instructions.
- Participate in finance transformation, process improvement, and automation initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent will be an advantage.
- Minimum 6–8 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
- Experience across external audit and commercial finance/accounting environments is preferred.
