Investment Banking Director
Job Summary
Soochow Singapore Capital Markets is seeking an Associate Director or Director with 10 to 15 years of corporate finance advisory experience for its growing Investment Banking department. The successful candidate will lead IPO and M&A transactions, manage client and regulatory discussions, and supervise junior staff. Candidates must possess relevant corporate finance experience, relevant CMFAS certifications, and be effectively bilingual in English and Chinese.
Responsibilities

Required Skills
- 10-15 years corporate finance experience
- Passed CMFAS RES 4 (or M4A) and MAS registered
- Experience leading at least 5 listings
- Bilingual in English and Chinese
Job Details
Responsibilities:
· Actively involved in transactional deal execution and origination activities
· Identify, address, resolve or mitigate issues identified in the course of IPO and M&A due diligence work and other assigned transactions
· Review and assist in preparation of transaction documents for IPO and M&A engagements
· Lead discussions involving clients, professionals and relevant regulatory authorities
· Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as relevant regulatory requirements
· Be involved in SGX Catalist Continuing Sponsorship work
· Supervise junior staff
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking and Finance or a related field
· Passed CMFAS RES 4 (or M4A) and is currently a MAS registered representative
· Have relevant experience and actively engaged in Corporate Finance advisory work, has advised in a managerial or supervisory capacity on at least five listings in the past 10 years.
· Self-motivated team player, willing to take initiative, strong problem-solving skills
· Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese (Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required to communicate with Chinese counterparts)
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
