Job Summary
The Cyber Response team assists clients in managing and investigating cyber security incidents like ransomware and network intrusions. You will perform digital forensics, analyze malware, and provide recommendations to restore systems and prevent future breaches. The role involves working within project teams to investigate root causes, document findings, and support clients through incident recovery.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Perform computer imaging, log file analysis, and investigation of computer artefacts.
- Conduct analysis of malware and write detailed technical reports for clients and regulators.
- Work in project teams to investigate the root cause and extent of security breaches.
- Supervise and advise junior colleagues on day-to-day tasks.
- Support incident recovery, including system restoration and expelling intruders from networks.
- Prepare clients for incidents by writing playbooks and simulating threats through war games.
- Be flexible to accommodate work outside of regular office hours due to the nature of cyber incidents.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3-4 years of experience in a technology-related field, with at least 2 years in a technical cybersecurity role.
- Exposure to incident response and digital forensics.
- Good understanding of networking, internet architecture, and major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Linux OS (permissions, security models, maintenance, and log review).
- Ability to troubleshoot using common network and system tools.
- Comfortable with command-line operations (especially Linux) and scripting.
- Programming proficiency in any popular language (Python preferred) to process logs and parse data.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent presentation skills to explain conclusions to stakeholders.
- Ability to write clear, professional business English for technical reports.
