Job Summary
This role involves supporting the processing, cleaning, and sterilization of medical instruments. The assistant will ensure inventory accuracy and handle medical equipment according to operational checklists. It is a 1-year contract position requiring attention to detail and ability to work rotating shifts.

Job Details
Job Scope
- Support the processing and preparation of medical instruments and equipment for operational use
- Perform cleaning, washing, inspection, packing, and sterilization duties according to established procedures
- Assist with sorting and assembling instruments and equipment based on operational checklists
- Ensure proper labelling, storage, and handling of medical supplies and instruments
- Maintain inventory accuracy and support stock management activities
- Assist with routine operational duties and other assignments as required by the supervisor
- Work across different operational stations within the department as assigned
- Handle and transport medical tools, kits, and equipment when required
Requirements
- Prior experience in a healthcare is advantageous but not necessary
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable performing repetitive tasks
- Able to work rotating shifts
- Able to follow standard operating procedures and workplace guidelines consistently
