Accounting Lead Murex
Job Summary
This role is for a Senior Murex Finance & Accounting SME to lead Accounting Engine configuration and financial reporting within a banking environment. The professional will oversee GL reconciliation, P&L, MTM reporting, and lead finance transformation initiatives. The position requires a candidate with over 8 years of experience in Murex MX.3 and capital markets.
Responsibilities
- Lead Murex Accounting Engine design and implementation
- Manage GL mappings, accounting templates, and MTM reporting
- Drive Finance requirements, testing, and UAT activities
- Ensure accurate accounting entries and regulatory compliance
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience with Murex MX.3
- Expertise in P&L Attribution and MTM Valuation
- Proficiency in GL Reconciliation and Financial Reporting
- Knowledge of Capital Markets products (FX, Fixed Income, IRD)

Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of Murex Accounting Engine and Finance reporting solutions.
- Manage accounting configurations, GL mappings, accounting templates, accruals, amortization, and MTM reporting.
- Drive Finance requirements gathering, functional design, testing, reconciliation, and UAT activities.
- Ensure accurate accounting entries, ledger reconciliation, P&L reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with Finance, Product Control, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Murex MX.3 Accounting Engine & Finance Module.
- Expertise in P&L Attribution, MTM Valuation, Accruals, Amortization, and Accounting Entries.
- Experience with General Ledger (GL) Reconciliation and Financial Reporting.
- Strong understanding of Capital Markets Products (FX, Fixed Income, Money Markets, IRD).
- Advanced stakeholder management, testing, UAT, and Finance transformation experience.
