Murex Senior Finance Consultant
Job Summary
The Senior Finance Consultant will specialize in the Murex wealth management platform, focusing on accounting configuration and treasury operations. You will be responsible for translating complex financial requirements into technical specifications and ensuring end-to-end accounting set-up. The role involves managing the full product life cycle, from SIT/UAT validation to post-deployment support.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Participate in discussions with relevant user function stakeholders across Group Finance, Accounting Reconciliation, and Treasury Operations to understand their accounting-specific requirements in the Bank's wealth management platform and build accounting configuration in the Murex system.
- Understand the end-to-end product life cycle and economic events across asset classes to ensure the accounting solution covers all scenarios detailed in accounting templates.
- Prepare draft Technical Specification and Functional specification documents for the Accounting module based on user requirements and conduct walk-throughs for user functions.
- Perform first-level validation (SIT) on the Accounting set-up.
- Deliver the Accounting set-up for UAT, support users with queries, and perform fixes based on UAT observations.
- Configure, import, and export Accounting objects across UAT environments and deploy the configuration into Production.
- Provide post go-live support for accounting issues.
Mandatory Skills:
- 4-8 years of Murex Back-Office experience with exposure to the accounting module.
- Understanding of Accounting Rules and Accounting Set up in Mx3.
- Strong analytical and logical approach to problem-solving and system development.
- Understanding of the trade life cycle.
- Well-versed with Key Murex-MX3 DataModel.
- Experience as a strong team member in Murex accounting projects.
- Good understanding of the Accounting Domain for 3.1, covering all asset classes (FXD, IRD, EQD, CRD).
- Experience in creating test cases for SIT/UAT.
- Murex upgrade-related report development & reconciliation experience.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Understanding of IFRS/GAAP accounting standards.
