React Lead Developer
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled React Lead Developer to join our team for a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will lead frontend architecture, drive end-to-end project delivery, and mentor engineering teams. You will collaborate across departments to build scalable, high-performance web applications for enterprise environments.

### Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership:
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable web applications using React.js
- Define frontend architecture, coding standards, and best practices
- Drive technical decisions and ensure high-quality code through reviews and troubleshooting
- Mentor and guide developers, fostering a strong engineering culture
- Development & Delivery:
- Collaborate closely with Product, UX/UI, QA, and Backend teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Ensure applications are responsive, performant, and aligned with business requirements
- Oversee full application lifecycle delivery from planning to deployment
- Collaboration & Governance:
- Work within Agile environments to deliver enterprise-scale applications
- Ensure alignment with security standards and best practices (e.g., OWASP)
- Contribute to continuous improvement in development processes and workflows
### Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field
- 6–8 years of frontend development experience, with at least 2–3 years in a Technical Lead role
- Strong expertise in React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and responsive development
- Experience with Next.js, Redux, REST APIs, GraphQL, CI/CD, Git, and Docker
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale applications in Agile environments
- Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder communication skills
### Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with micro-frontend architecture and/or React Native
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Background in fintech, banking, insurance, government, or enterprise environments
- Knowledge of application security and OWASP best practices
- Relevant certifications in frontend development or cloud technologies
