Senior Finance Accounting Executive
Job Summary
A leading Multinational Corporation is seeking a seasoned Senior Finance and Accounting Executive to manage local financial affairs for its new Singapore factory. The role involves overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, and ensuring strict compliance with local tax regulations. You will work closely with the HQ team to support strategic decision-making and handle statutory reporting requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage financial accounting, reporting, and budgeting
- Ensure compliance with SFRS and local tax regulations
- Coordinate statutory reporting and audit processes
- Support cash flow management and business planning
Required Skills
- Bachelor/Master in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Expertise in Singapore tax and financial regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Fluent in Chinese
Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and review core finance functions including financial accounting, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting in line with local tax regulations.
- Ensure timely submission and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in compliance with SFRS.
- Work closely with the HQ team on statutory reporting, audits, and financial close processes.
- Support business planning, cost control and review cash flow.
- Supervise corporate bookkeeping and preparation of financial statements.
- Provide management accounting information for HQ strategic decision-making.
- Support audit processes including co-ordination with HQ finance team and external consultants and advisors.
- Preferably familiar with consolidation of cross-country financial reports.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by reporting manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor/Master in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years experiences, with 3 years in a CPA firm and 2 years in a similar industry.
- Must have sound knowledge of Singapore tax compliances and financial regulations.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Able to speak Chinese to communicate with stakeholders internally.
