Job Summary

The Medical Records Coordinator will support the accurate processing, organization, and security of important healthcare and administrative records. This role primarily involves working with electronic documents and digital filing systems to maintain efficient day-to-day operations. Structured training will be provided to help the candidate build a strong foundation in healthcare administration.

Job Details

Your Responsibilities - Review scanned and electronic documents to check that information is complete, legible, accurate and arranged appropriately. - Process, label and upload documents into the relevant electronic records or document-management systems. - Maintain well-organised digital filing structures and ensure records are updated in a timely manner. - Handle confidential patient and administrative information carefully in accordance with established security and privacy procedures. - Follow the required processes for document retention, handling, archiving and disposal. - Perform data entry and other routine clerical tasks to support daily administrative workflows. - Assist with document preparation, records-related activities and other administrative assignments when required. - Conduct basic checks to identify missing, inconsistent or incorrectly filed information and escalate issues where appropriate. - Maintain a consistent and accurate approach when handling sensitive records and confidential information. - Support the wider administrative team with other operational duties as assigned. What We’re Looking For - Minimum GCE A Levels, Diploma or equivalent qualification. - Interest in healthcare administration, records management or document-processing work. - Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow structured processes carefully. - Organised and methodical approach to handling information and administrative responsibilities. - Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. - Comfortable working with electronic documents and computer-based systems. - Responsible and dependable, particularly when handling confidential information. - Positive attitude with the ability and willingness to learn new procedures and systems. - Structured training and on-the-job guidance will be provided.
