Job Summary

Design and develop equipment, tools, and fixtures to improve manufacturing processes in the medical device sector. Develop and execute experiments, tests, and validation protocols while supporting automation and AI initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot equipment and resolve manufacturing risks.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong programming skills in Python and Power BI
  • Experience in medical device manufacturing or FDA regulations

Job Details

Job Scope: - Design and develop equipment, tools and fixtures to improve manufacturing processes. - Develop and execute experiments, tests and validation protocols; analyze results and prepare reports. - Prepare work instructions, training and technical documentation for production teams. - Support automation, process technology and validation projects. - Provide technical guidance on software coding and development. - Troubleshoot automated equipment and support Industry 4.0/5.0 initiatives. - Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve manufacturing risks and issues. - Support robotics, AI and automation-related projects where applicable. - Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related scientific field with 3+ years of relevant experience. - Strong programming/computer skills, particularly Python and Power BI. - C# knowledge is an advantage. - Experience with robotics, AI/LLMs, VLM/VLA or AI-assisted programming is highly advantageous. - Experience in Industry 4.0/5.0, robotic programming or automation projects preferred. - Strong knowledge of automated equipment troubleshooting. - Experience with medical device manufacturing, GMP/GDP or FDA regulations is advantageous. - CAD and MS Project knowledge preferred. - Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. - Able to work independently and effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors and project stakeholders. - Good documentation skills and strong attention to detail.
