Accountant
Job Summary
An Accountant is needed for a 1-year contract role in Pasir Panjang supporting daily accounting, month-end closing, and financial reporting. The candidate will work closely with regional teams, handle tax submissions, and assist with audits. A degree in Finance or Accounting with 3 to 4 years of relevant experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Support daily accounting and financial matters
- Ensure timely month-end, quarterly, and year-end closing
- Prepare financial reports and perform variance analysis
- Handle GST and withholding tax submissions
- Liaise with internal and external auditors
Required Skills
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or related
- 3–4 years of relevant accounting experience
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (Oracle preferred)
Job Details
Job Responsibilities
Support the Finance Manager in daily accounting and financial matters.
Work closely with the regional accounting team to ensure timely month-end, quarterly and year-end closing.
Review balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items.
Prepare financial reports and perform variance analysis.
Handle GST and withholding tax submissions and related documentation.
Support treasury and banking activities, including liaison with banks.
Coordinate quarterly and year-end stock takes and fixed asset sighting.
Liaise with internal and external auditors and follow up on audit matters.
Support financial and process improvement projects.
Provide accounting and financial support to various departments and business units.
Assist with year-end tax filing and other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Location: Pasir Panjang
Working Hours: Monday to Friday
Salary: Up to $4700 + 1 month completion bonus
Requirements
Minimum Degree in Finance, Accounting or related.
Minimum 3–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
Hands-on experience with accounting software; Oracle experience is preferred.
