Senior Finance Associate
Job Summary
This is a 1-year renewable contract role within a banking environment focused on financial reporting and payment management. The position requires accurate reconciliation of Nostro accounts, processing of payroll and vendor payments, and preparation of regulatory reports. The candidate will also support financial statement disclosures and assist with the ongoing SAP Upgrade Project.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile Nostro Accounts and prepare journal entries
- Process vendor payments, payroll, and reimbursements
- Manage branch funding and GIRO bulk payments
- Prepare daily suspense checks and HO reports
- Support SAP Upgrade Project
Required Skills
- Degree in Accounting
- 3+ years Finance/Accounting/Audit experience
- Knowledge of SAP & FCC Systems
- Proficiency in Singapore Income Tax & IFRS/FRS
- Microsoft Excel, Access & PowerPoint skills
Job Details
Role Purpose
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to Head Office, regulators, and tax agents, while managing staff and vendor payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile all Nostro Accounts and prepare journal entries for bank charges and interest income (bi-weekly)
- Process vendor payments, staff reimbursements, payroll, and interco billing from overseas branch
- Manage branch funding and run weekly GIRO bulk payments
- Prepare daily EOD suspense checks and follow up on unreconciled items
- Produce monthly/quarterly HO reports
- Assist in annual financial statement disclosures and Nostro reconciliation automation
- Support SAP Upgrade Project and other ad hoc duties
Requirements
- Degree in accounting with at least 3 years of Finance/Accounting/Audit experience
- Knowledge SAP & FCC Systems
- Proficient in Singapore Income Tax & IFRS/FRS
- Microsoft Excel, Access & PowerPoint
