Automation Technician

Job Responsibilities: - Perform maintenance and repair of production automation machines - Troubleshoot equipment issues and minimize downtime - Carry out preventive maintenance (PM) as scheduled - Record faults, repairs, and actions taken for shift handover - Support machine vision systems during production operations - Respond to machine breakdowns and ensure timely recovery - Support automation integration and system improvements - Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve productivity and equipment performance Job Requirements: - NTC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics or related fields) - Candidates with hands-on experience in manufacturing or automation environment preferred - Knowledge of PLC or automation systems is an advantage - Exposure to machine vision systems is an advantage - Able to understand and communicate basic English to follow work instructions and ensure workplace safety - Able to perform hands-on technical work in a manufacturing environment - Able to work rotating 12-hour shifts Working Hours: - 12-hour rotating shift (3-4-4-3 pattern) - Morning Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM - Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Benefits: - Shift Allowance: Morning $15/day, Night $20/day - Attendance Allowance: $100/month - Overtime payable in accordance with MOM regulations - AWS (13th Month Bonus) - Variable Bonus (performance-based) - Medical and Dental Benefits - Annual Leave: up to 14 days - Company transport provided - Cleanroom working environment (PPE required)
