Innovation Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities Software Development - Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web-based applications supporting dental and clinical workflows. - Develop user-friendly front-end interfaces and robust back-end services. - Build and maintain application programming interfaces (APIs) to integrate with clinical systems, laboratory equipment, and third-party software. - Implement secure, scalable, and maintainable software architectures. CAD/CAM and Dental Technology Solutions - Prosthodontic design, Orthodontic workflows, Surgical guide planning, Dental manufacturing and 3D printing processes. - Integrate 3D visualization, geometric modelling, and mesh processing capabilities into software applications. - Support interoperability with dental CAD/CAM systems and digital manufacturing platforms. Mobile Application Development - Design and develop mobile applications for clinical, patient-facing, educational, or operational use. - Support cross-platform development for iOS and Android devices. - Integrate mobile applications with web platforms and cloud services. Algorithm and AI Development - Develop algorithms for data processing, automation, image analysis, and workflow optimization. - Support machine learning and artificial intelligence initiatives for digital dentistry and healthcare applications. - Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve clinical and laboratory operations. Collaboration and Innovation - Work closely with clinicians, dental technicians, researchers, and engineers to gather requirements and translate them into software solutions. - Participate in innovation projects, proof-of-concept studies, and technology translation initiatives. - Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and development standards. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed applications. Requirements Education - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. - Master's degree is advantageous. Experience - 2-5 years of software development experience (or equivalent demonstrated portfolio). - Experience developing and deploying full-stack web applications. - Experience working in healthcare, medical technology, manufacturing, CAD/CAM, or research environments is advantageous. Technical Skills Essential: - Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5 / CSS3, Python - Experience with modern web frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js - Experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django), RESTful APIs Desirable: - Mobile development: React Native, Flutter, Native iOS/Android development - Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud - Database systems: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB - Containerization and DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines CAD and Advanced Computing Experience (Preferred) - Experience with 3D graphics libraries (Three.js, WebGL, OpenGL), Computational geometry, Mesh processing, CAD/CAM software development, Medical imaging data (DICOM, STL, OBJ, PLY) - Knowledge of computer vision, AI, machine learning, or image processing.
