Buyer (Semiconductor Industry)
Job Summary
The Buyer will manage procurement activities for spare parts, components, and production materials in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for processing Purchase Orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring material availability using SAP and Teamcenter. This is a 1-year renewable contract role requiring strong coordination with engineering and supply chain teams.

Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement of spare parts, components, and production materials to support daily business operations.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with approved pricing, supplier agreements, and lead times.
- Coordinate with suppliers by providing the latest engineering drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) where required.
- Track supplier deliveries and maintain accurate order schedules in SAP.
- Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely material availability for production.
- Review engineering drawings and technical specifications to ensure procurement accuracy.
- Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedules, quality issues, and technical requirements.
- Support supplier sourcing, evaluation, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Perform daily procurement activities using SAP and Teamcenter.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of purchasing or procurement experience.
- Hands-on experience with SAP is required.
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or semiconductor environment is an advantage.
