Job Summary
The Trade Support Officer (Biofuels) will manage trade-related support activities, including trader assistance, customer communication, and payment arrangements. The role involves ensuring the timely and accurate execution of transactions, risk management activities, and accounting journal entries. The incumbent will report to the Trade Support Manager in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Support trade-related activities and trader operations
- Manage customer and internal department communication
- Execute transaction processing and accounting entries
- Perform risk management and price confirmation duties
Required Skills
- Degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering
- Knowledge of Incoterms and UCP600
- Understanding of ESG, Renewable Energy, and Sustainability documentation
- Experience in Oil & Gas or Energy sector
Job Details
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide comprehensive trade-related supporting activities.
- Assist traders with daily operations.
- Facilitate communication with customers and internal departments regarding payment arrangements.

- Ensure timely and accurate execution of transactions.
- Conduct various risk management activities and handle journal entries.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess at least a Reputable Degree in Business, Economics, Environmental Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain or equivalent.
- Ideal to have 1 year internship/working experience in Oil & Gas, Energy industry with knowledge of trading/finance/accounting.
- Strong knowledge in Incoterms and UCP600.
- Knowledge of sustainability, ESG, Renewable Energy obligations and documentations such as Sustainability Declarations (SD) and Proof of Sustainability (POS) would be ideal.
