Job Details

Responsibilities: 1. Capacity Planning & Demand Matching - Develop and maintain the fab-wide plant capacity model, ensuring alignment with customer wafer demand and tool input requirements. - Analyze capacity gaps and proactively initiate actions to close them. - Partner with process modules to ensure equipment readiness ahead of production needs to meet customer required dates. 2. Equipment Utilization & Productivity - Calculate and monitor equipment capacity utilization across all fab modules. - Identify equipment bottlenecks and lead productivity improvement programs. - Collaborate with the maintenance team to track and improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness). 3. Cycle Time Reduction - Calculate the intrinsic cycle time of the fab (ideal processing time without queueing). - Work with manufacturing and process engineering teams to reduce cycle time and improve throughput. 4. Tool Redundancy & Fab Stability - Collaborate with process owners to implement redundancy plans for critical tools to enhance fab stability and resilience. 5. Layout Planning & Space Management - Act as the Industrial Engineering lead for tool layout and fab space planning: Identify space for new equipment and coordinate with facilities and equipment teams for tool installation. - Create and update AutoCAD tool layouts, ensuring all tools and utilities are properly marked and documented. - Maintain accurate records of tool placement and space utilization. 6. Staff Support & HR Coordination - Work with HR and operations teams to manage seating arrangements for staff across SP2 and external office spaces. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. - Minimum 1 years of working experience in the field of Industrial Engineering in a Semiconductor Wafer Fab is preferred. - Proficiency in capacity modelling, AutoCAD, and familiarity with lean manufacturing tools.
