Accounting Intern

### Key Responsibilities - Core finance operations: Support day-to-day finance activities such as accounts payable and receivable, employee claims, and purchase requisitions, with increasing responsibility as you become familiar with our processes. - Reporting and analysis: Prepare basic financial reports, perform reconciliations, and assist with variance analysis under guidance. - System implementation support: Contribute to data checks and documentation as we roll out a new financial system – a chance to see how finance and technology intersect. - Process improvement: Contribute to documenting existing workflows and suggest practical improvements, including the use of digital or AI-assisted tools where appropriate. - Cross-functional exposure: Based on interest and performance, there may be opportunities to observe or assist with areas such as treasury, budgeting, audit preparation, or finance-related support for our business units (e.g. transport consultancy, events). ### Requirements - Pursuing a diploma/degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business - Basic understanding of accounting principles - Proficient in Excel and MS Office - Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn - Prior internship experience is a plus, but not required ### What You’ll Gain - Practical, hands-on experience in an in-house finance function - Exposure to both routine finance tasks and project work - Opportunities to take on broader responsibilities based on performance and initiative - Mentorship from experienced professionals - A realistic understanding of what a career in accounting and finance involves
