Job Summary
The Murex Accounting Consultant will lead the configuration and implementation of accounting solutions within the Murex system. Responsibilities include translating business requirements into technical and functional specifications and ensuring accounting setups cover all product life cycles. The role involves supporting SIT/UAT phases, guiding reporting teams, and providing post-go-live support for accounting operations.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Participate in discussions with user function stakeholders across Group Finance, Accounting Reconciliation, and Treasury Operations to understand specific requirements for Murex system configuration.
- Understand the end-to-end product life cycle and economic events for financial products to ensure accounting solutions cover all scenarios.
- Prepare draft Technical and Functional Specification documents for the accounting module.
- Perform first-level validation (SIT) on accounting setups based on user-shared accounting templates.
- Deliver accounting setups for UAT, support users with queries, and perform fixes based on UAT observations.
- Guide and assist Datamart reporting teams regarding accounting-specific reports and business functionality.
- Configure accounting objects in UAT environments and deploy final configurations into Production.
- Provide post-go-live support for any accounting-related issues.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Murex Back-Office experience with extensive exposure to Accounting.
- Strong understanding of Accounting Rules and Accounting Setup.
- Solid knowledge of Trade life cycle.
- Well versed with Key Murex DataModel.
- Experience as a team lead in Murex accounting projects.
- Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Domain for 3.1 covering all asset classes (FXD, IRD, EQD, CRD).
- Proven experience in creating test cases for SIT/UAT.
