Manual Test Engineer
Job Summary
YEPEESOFT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Manual Test Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience to perform manual testing of web and software applications. The ideal candidate will prepare and execute test cases, identify and track software defects, and work closely with developers to ensure quality requirements are met. A background in Computer Science or a related discipline along with familiarity with defect-tracking tools is required.

Required Skills
- Min 2 years manual software testing / QA experience
- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC
- Familiarity with JIRA or Azure DevOps

Job Details
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of web and software applications.
- Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios and test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, integration and system testing.
- Identify, document and track software defects using defect management tools.
- Verify bug fixes and conduct retesting.
- Work closely with developers and business teams to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Prepare test reports and maintain testing documentation.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release activities.
- Ensure applications meet functional and quality requirements.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in manual software testing / QA.
- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience in writing test cases and defect reports.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Azure DevOps or similar defect-tracking tools.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Experience with SQL/database testing will be an advantage.
