Key Responsibilities
- System Development: Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient foundational systems. Examples include: Data Infrastructure: Forge the next generation of data systems to fuel our analytics, Cloud Infrastructure: Multi-vendor GPU capacity management and scheduling, ML Infrastructure: Construct the ML training infrastructure to enhance our AI researchers’ productivity, and inference systems to optimize the scalability and performance of our video GenAI, Product Infrastructure: Create the foundation for HeyGen product
- Collaboration: Work closely with product engineers, AI researchers to deliver best performant systems.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor backend systems for performance, errors, and anomalies. Implement fixes and improvements as needed.
- Code Quality: Maintain high code quality through regular code reviews, pair programming, and writing unit and integration tests.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest system technologies and best practices to ensure HeyGen remains at the forefront of technology.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience working on scalable and performant systems.
- Proficiency in python or c++.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong knowledge of API design and development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience with Machine Learning Infrastructure especially computer vision.
- Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced tech environment.
