Job Summary

The Compliance and Finance Executive will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, monthly management accounts, corporate tax, and GST filings. They will also manage corporate secretarial administration, ACRA filings, and general paralegal support including KYC and AML due diligence. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field along with business-level fluency in Thai, Hindi, and/or Gujarati.

Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, corporate tax computations, and GST filings
  • Manage ACRA filings and end-to-end corporate secretarial administration
  • Perform KYC and AML due diligence on clients and counterparties
  • Provide general paralegal support and contract administration

Required Skills

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking & Finance, or related field
  • Business-level fluency in Thai, Hindi and/or Gujarati, plus fluent English
  • Prior exposure to Indian, US regulatory, tax, or client environments
  • Familiarity with financial modelling, quantitative analysis, and Excel/PowerPoint
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Job Details

Job responsibilities: ● Day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations ● Preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting month-end/year-end closing ● Preparation and filing of corporate tax computations and GST filings; liaison with auditors and tax agents ● Preparing financial statements and basic variance/budget analysis for management review ● ACRA filings and end-to-end corporate secretarial administration — including directors' and shareholders' resolutions, meeting minutes, statutory filings, and entity incorporations, branch registrations, and striking-off applications ● Supporting corporate restructurings and multi-jurisdictional entity management, ensuring governance documentation stays current and compliant ● General paralegal support: document preparation, contract administration, legal research ● KYC and AML due diligence on clients and counterparties, including documentation ● Preparing business proposals, pitch materials, and client reports ● Acting as a point of coordination between the Singapore office and outsourcing professionals and clients Key Qualities ● High integrity and discretion; this role handles sensitive financial and compliance matters ● Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision ● Strong organisational skills and attention to detail ● Adaptable and culturally attuned, with the judgement to navigate cross-border business norms ● Pro active, resourceful, and willing to take ownership across a wide range of tasks ● Clear, confident communicator, both with clients and internally ● Strong research and analytical writing ability, with a track record of turning raw data or filings into clear, decision-useful reports ● Eager and willingness to learn and open to feedback, with a genuine interest in building a long-term career in finance/compliance. Commitment and dedication towards the organisation and willing to work across various time zones as and when required ● Collaborative team player who also thrives working independently when needed ● Service-oriented, with a client-first mindset Requirements: ● Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking & Finance, or a related field ● Business-level fluency in Thai, Hindi and/or Gujarati (essential — a significant portion of communication is conducted in these languages), plus fluent English ● Prior exposure to Indian, US regulatory, tax, or client environments — through study, internship, or work — is strongly preferred, given the role requires functioning confidently in that context from early on ● Comfort with financial modelling, quantitative analysis, and interpreting regulatory filings or financial statements ● Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and client-facing materials ● Willing to work flexible hours to support clients across different time zones (such as North America and EMEA regions)
