Finance Manager
Job Summary
The Finance Manager will oversee all financial and accounting operations, including full spectrum accounting, month-end closing, and statutory audits. They will also lead financial planning, budgeting, cost management, and CAPEX tracking within a manufacturing environment. Additionally, the role involves partnering with stakeholders to drive profitability and optimize costs.

Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting
- Manage the full spectrum of finance and accounting activities, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and month-end closing.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and manage all banking-related matters.
- Process intercompany billings and reconcile intercompany balances.
- Prepare monthly Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss (P&L), and Cash Flow schedules, including supporting reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns.
- Lead corporate tax matters and coordinate with external tax agents where required.
- Liaise with external auditors, bankers, tax agents, and relevant government authorities.
- Coordinate and support the annual statutory audit process.
- Calculate and account for foreign exchange gains and losses.
- Support semi-annual fixed asset verification and manage fixed asset tagging and records.
- Liaise closely with HQ Finance on accounting and financial reporting matters.
- Prepare and submit monthly financial reports to HQ in accordance with reporting timelines and requirements.
Costing, Planning & Analysis
- Manage financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting processes.
- Maintain and review standard costing and product margin calculations.
- Perform financial performance and variance analysis, providing meaningful insights and commentary to management.
- Partner with key stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve profitability, optimize costs, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
- Manage Precious Metal (PM) transactions, including refining activities and PM gain/loss calculations.
- Oversee financial tracking and control of CAPEX projects.
- Manage COO cost statement applications, renewals, and updates.
- Lead the costing month-end closing process and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
