Senior Staff Engineer

Responsibilities: - Partner with key team members to develop applications and processes to continuously improve production metrics. - Collaborate with engineering to plan for future product introduction. - Partner with the area Engineering and Operations teams to keep updated on area issues, priorities, and projects. - Communicate fab performance metrics to a large diverse group of customers. - Coordinate New Part Introduction (NPI) between teams. - Set strategic and tactical plans for Wip In Progress (WIP), Cycle Time (CT), and priority allocations. - Drive operational planning for critical efforts ensuring the ability to meet critical timelines. - Develop standard processes, reports, dashboards, and other data visualizations to convey project status. - Plan, track, and report on key lot status. - Use statistical analysis to optimize fab performance metrics and audit manufacturing capacity information. - Present findings and recommend solutions to fab performance gaps. - Drive innovation by researching and using new data modeling techniques or tools. - Evaluate and collaborate on scenarios representing changes, perform what-if scenarios, and work with Engineering and Operations to understand impacts. - Innovate and implement best-in-class predictive models and decision tools to address business needs. - Seek out novel methodologies and tools to better predict and track manufacturing key performance indicators. Qualifications: - Excellent multi-tasking, time-management, organization, and prioritization skills. - Dedicated to establishing and maintaining effective relationships. - Proven track record to communicate sophisticated analysis in a succinct and actionable manner. - Sophisticated skills in Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, and Power Point. - Proven ability to identify, develop, propose, and implement effective plans to drive overall efficiency. - Proven ability to organize and efficiently facilitate meetings and project teams. - Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills with ability to fix complex problems and address root causes. - Solid understanding of statistics, data analysis, and problem-solving. - Knowledgeable in the use of tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Python, R. - Solid understanding of production line management techniques and theories. - Eagerness to learn and grow understanding of semiconductor production floor concepts and operations. - Understanding of Manufacturing Science (scheduling, inventory management, capacity planning). Requirements (Education and Experience): - Bachelors Degree in Industrial System/Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Operations Management, Supply Chain, or equivalent with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Semiconductor Operations/Manufacturing field. - OR Masters Degree in Industrial System/Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Operations Management, Supply Chain, or equivalent with minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Semiconductor Operations/Manufacturing. - Knowledge of the semiconductor wafer Fabrication manufacturing process regarding capacity planning, automation, scheduling, cycle time, and manufacturing efficiency. - Experience in using SQL, Tableau, AI tools in semiconductor wafer Fabrication manufacturing process.
