Supervisor 2nd Grinding

Responsibilities: - Supervise daily operations of the 2nd Grinding Department to achieve production targets, maintain quality standards, and meet delivery schedules. - Lead, guide, and motivate production employees to maintain discipline and enhance productivity. - Monitor machine performance and collaborate with the Maintenance team to minimize equipment downtime. - Enforce compliance with company policies, safety regulations, quality standards, and standard operating procedures. - Analyze production issues and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and efficiency. - Plan and allocate manpower effectively to fulfill operational requirements. - Coordinate with Production Planning, Quality Assurance/Control, and Assembly departments to ensure smooth production flow. - Prepare production reports and track key performance indicators to assess departmental performance. - Assist in training and developing operators and junior supervisors to build team capability and succession readiness. Preferred competencies and qualifications: - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum 2-4 years of experience in grinding or machining operations. - Previous supervisory or team leadership experience. - Knowledge of grinding processes.
